As the nice home, the 2-car garage, the retirement plan, the nice clothes, and the good schools for the kids all became available, it became clear that none of them held the key to happiness.

While it helped many, in an of itself it did not make people more equipped to handle romantic relationship.

Spiritual people, people involved with religious groups and organizations are often in just as much pain as they were before.

What one may be able to find more readily in such an environment is someone who is willing to examine themselves and learn and grow.

Which is half the battle. You can grow and heal together.
